GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has revealed that Leon King suffered cramp during last night's Champions League defeat to Napoli.
The defender limped off in the 76th minute as Borna Barisic replaced him.
There were initial fears that King could have picked up an injury, but van Bronckhorst allayed those at full-time.
He explained: "No, he got cramp. He's 18 years old, he's played almost every game at the highest level. We're really proud by the way he's performing at that age.
"But it's only cramp, so after a good rest between now and Saturday, I think he will be available."
The Ibrox boss will be delighted that King does not have a serious injury with somewhat of a defensive injury crisis brewing at the moment.
John Souttar, Filip Helander and Connor Goldson are all currently out with knocks, meaning Gers are currently going with the experienced partnership of King and Ben Davies.
