JAMES MCCARTHY will be out for the foreseeable future with a "significant" hamstring injury.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed that the midfielder will be out for action for his side.
The midfielder has played a bit-part role since signing on a free last summer.
However, while he may not be a regular pick, the Hoops have lost one of their squad players due to the muscle injury.
McCarthy's Celtic contract runs until 2025.
