Alan Burrows insists VAR had access to more than one angle of Celtic star Jota's offside goal.

The Motherwell chief has offered a response to a fan on social media when asked how the camera facilities are at Fir Park for the Scottish FA's VARs.

Jota appeared to have doubled Celtic's lead in the second-half with a lovely chipped finish.

However, it was eventually chopped off after VAR advised Willie Collum that the winger was offside.

This proved controversial among Celtic fans due to the angle shown to PPV viewers on the live stream of the game.

Widely shared on social media, the camera angle showed the offside call from the other end of the pitch, making it difficult to tell clearly whether Jota was on or offside.

But Burrows insists VAR had access to more than one camera angle to assist in making their decision.

Replying to a user on Twitter, the 'Well chief said: "We facilitate the Scottish FA in placing them where they feel is most appropriate.

"There were a few site visits by SFA and Hawkeye and 18-yard positions were selected in both halves. We even got one upgraded (at our expense). Both were in operation last night."
