RANGERS boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst and midfielder Glen Kamara were reportedly involved in a "disagreement" following yesterday's 1-1 draw at St Mirren.

The Light Blues had to come from behind against the Buddies as they continued their poor run of form domestically after their defeat to St Johnstone last week.

Kamara started the match in midfield but was hooked at half-time and replaced by Scott Arfield.

The Athletic has reported that Kamara "was in the foyer fully dressed after being hooked at half-time and stood in the tunnel area sporting his sponsored Red Bull beanie hat."

The report also states "as the second half went on he was waiting in the foyer with his tracksuit on" before "watching from the tunnel."

Van Bronckhorst and Kamara then appeared to clash at full-time, with the story adding "a disagreement occurred between both at full time."

Kamara has been in and out of the Rangers team this season and he was heavily linked with a move away from the club in the summer.

Asked about his decision to take the midfielder off, van Bronckhorst explained: “I had to substitute him because I think the team needed a change with Scotty and more runs from midfield in the right position. That is all I had to say about him."

Van Bronckhorst claimed he has no fear about his future after Rangers dropped two more cinch Premiership points.

“We are going to sit down (with board), that is for sure, and speak about the last couple of months and which way to go forward.

“I said many times before that if we keep dropping points I am accountable for that. That is what comes from the job.

“We prepare the players as best we can and then they have to put in the performance. That is always the case. As I said before, the way we conceded the goal, we had to be sharper.

“It is a five-week break before the next game. Time to reflect and rest and recover and then we have two weeks to prepare for the first game against Hibs.”
