ANGE POSTECOGLOU received the bizarre title of 'Celtic Rangers' manager after speaking at a private lesson to coaches.

The Celtic manager was incorrectly titled by the Australian Institute of Sport as they shared images after an event featuring a learning session with the Parkhead boss.

Postecoglou was back Down Under with Celtic for the Sydney Super Cup during the World Cup break as his side played Western Sydney Wanderers and Everton.

And the Celtic boss also appeared at the session in Sydney to meet with coaches on an AIS learning scheme.

However, in posting an image of beaming Postecoglou alongside those attending the session, the AIS dropped an unfortunate name gaffe.

While accompanying the post with a snap of Postecoglou as Celtic manager, the Greek-Australian gaffer was titled as manager of "Scottish Premier Club Celtic Rangers".

The Australian Institute of Sport post read: "Ange Postecoglou #theAIS National Generation 2032 Coaches were treated to a private learning session with Ange Postecoglou in Sydney recently.

"Now at the helm of Scottish Premier Club Celtic Rangers, the former Socceroos coach took time out between Sydney Super Cup matches to meet with coaches from both the National Generation 2032 Program and NSWIS."

Followers were quick to point out the mistake in the post which has racked up more than 200 likes.

One user commented: "Umm Celtic Rangers?😂"

And another added: "There’s no such team as Celtic Rangers 🤦🏻"
