Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan feels that Celtic hero Tom Rogic is "wasted" in the English Championship.

The former Scotland international made clear on social media that he feels the 29-year-old could be playing at a much higher level.

He tweeted: "Tom Rogic, lovely player to watch. Wasted in the Champ."

The Australian opened his West Brom account with a lovely outside-of-the-foot finish against Sunderland.

It has taken the ex-Hoops playmaker some time to get going at the Hawthorns, so much so that he missed out on Australia's World Cup squad.

But he appears to have found his mojo again after his superb strike away to the Black Cats.

After the game, Baggies boss Carlos Corberan made clear that he thinks the Socceroos midfielder is back to his best.

"I think the performance of Rogic, maybe in the last two games before the break, and during the period of training, has been excellent," he said.

"His performances have been excellent, and after training and working hard he can perform better in the football pitch."

From one player who has left the club to another who could also be on his way out.

Scott Robertson is reportedly set to leave Celtic after being informed he won't be offered a fresh contract.

It's claimed the 21-year-old could even depart the club next month with Ange Postecoglou not seeing a future for the player at Parkhead.

Robertson had been in Australia with the Celtic squad during the World Cup break, but the Daily Record report he'll leave the club by the summer at the latest when his contract expires.

And it could be before then with former team-mate Scott Brown credited with an interest in taking the talent to Fleetwood in January.

St Mirren have also been linked with the midfielder - however, Stephen Robinson previously stated there would have to be outgoings to accommodate any new signings.

It's suggested Robertson - who made his debut for Celtic in the Europa League aged 18 - will make a decision on his next move in the coming weeks.
