Celtic star Josip Juranovic has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks.

It appears that the Scottish champions will look to cash in on their top asset this January.

The right-back enjoyed a stellar World Cup with his country Croatia.

The Hoops ace was a standout in many of his nation's performances, that eventually saw them finish third in this year's competition.

Juranovic caught the eye of the globe with an impressive showing against Brazil at the quarter-final stage of the tournament.

That led to speculation that Manchester United, Barcelona and Roma were all interested in signing the 27-year-old.

Now, it seems there's another club name to add to the list.

According to Spanish outlet AS, La Liga side Espanyol are keen on the Croat.

The report cites a price tag in excess of €9m, which could potentially be a bit of stretch for the Spaniards.

Ange Postecoglou insists it is "great Josip is getting noticed."

The Celtic boss added: "I want our players to be getting noticed. If they weren’t getting noticed they wouldn’t be doing well."

While Postecoglou has welcomed the interest in Juranovic, the Australian has not openly spoken about a potential deal for the Croatian who has impressed so many over the last month.

Croatia finished their campaign in Qatar with a 2-1 win over Morocco.

Both Juranovic and Borna Barisic are expected back in Glasgow to continue the Premiership title race within the next week.
