Celtic started where they left off after the resumption of the Premiership at the weekend.

It was a tough watch, however, the champions got there in the end against Aberdeen in what was a deserved 1-0 win over Jim Goodwin's men.

The return of captain Callum McGregor was a huge boost to the Hoops. He scored from the edge of the box with just three-minutes remaining on the clock.

That win restored their nine-point lead at the summit of the table after Rangers had pegged it back to six a couple of days earlier.

Again, Michael Beale's side will have the chance to reduce that deficit as they play the Dons on Tuesday evening this week, before Celtic are in action this midweek.

So, the ultimate goal again for Ange Postecoglou's side will be to maintain their healthy lead in the title race.

Livingston will be aiming to pick up a positive result to keep them in the hunt for third spot.
