Former Celtic kid Calvin Miller is assessing his option as he continues to look for a new club.

The 24-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Chesterfield by mutual consent in October.

He made five first team appearances for Celtic after coming through the club's youth ranks.

Miller made his debut around the same time as Anthony Ralston under Brendan Rodgers.

He had loan spells at Dundee and Ayr before forging his career in the English lower leagues with Harrogate and then Chesterfield.

Now, the Daily Record say that the left-wing-back is keeping his options open, with both Morton and Falkirk keeping tabs.

Miller has been training with Championship high-flyers Morton, so could sign for Dougie Imrie's men to help their promotion bid.

However, Falkirk remain keen on the ex-Scotland U21 international as well.

John McGlynn worked with Celtic as Miller progressed through the academy.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are set to accelerate their transfer move for Josip Juranovic, according to reports.

The London club have been linked with the Celtic full-back for a number of weeks now after the Croatian's impressive performances at the World Cup.

Now the Daily Mail say Graham Potter's side are set to step up their negotiations after Reece James was forced off injured against Bournemouth yesterday.

The England international has been struggling with a knee knock and it appeared that this flared up once again.

The report also states that Chelsea may only have to splash £8million for the signature of Juranovic.
