Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic line-up ahead of tonight's match against St Mirren.

The Parkhead boss is aiming to return to league duty with victory after sealing a spot in the Viaplay Cup final on Saturday.

But visitors St Mirren provide a stern test having been the only team to have beaten Celtic in domestic action this season.

Postecoglou's men fell to a 2-0 defeat in Paisley last year in the league.

But the Celtic boss insists his players don't need the plot of revenge over the visitors to motivate them to put in a performance.

He said: "I'd be really disappointed if they were more motivated against St Mirren than they were in the last game or the one after that. That is not my expectation of any team I have managed.

"Your motivation should be every time you play to try and be at your best and try and beat whatever opponent is in front of you. If you need revenge as a motivator then go and lose every second game and you'll be great.

"That's not how it works particularly here as we are very motivated because we are representing this football club and we are in a strong position in the league and we want consistency in performance and results. That's our motivation.

"That's our motivation every week so it doesn't need anything extra to get these guys up and running."
