The fee Celtic will receive for the transfer of Josip Juranovic has been reportedly revealed.

The right-back is set to join Bundesliga side Union Berlin in the coming days.

It was first reported by Fabrizio Romano last night that a deal was progressing between the clubs, with all parties said to be in advanced talks.

Now, it's been said by the Daily Record that Celtic will earn an initial £7.5million for the Croatian's services.

The report states that the deal for the 27-year-old could rise to as high as £10million, when add-ons are taken into account.

It's believed that Juranovic is on his way to the German capital to secure a long-term deal with Union.

The defender will therefore play no part of today's Scottish Cup clash against Morton.

Juranovic - who starred at the World Cup over November and December - has been courted by several clubs across Europe, including Monza, Chelsea, Barcelona, Roma and others.

Juranovic is contracted at Celtic Park until 2026. He joined for around £2.5million in the summer of 2021, so the Hoops are set to make another large profit on one of their top talents.

Union Berlin are in contention to finish in the Champions League spots this season.

They remain in the Europa League as well and will take on Ajac in the play-off round of that competition when continental football re-starts in the coming month.
