Alfredo Morelos has reportedly rejected a mega-money move to Turkiye.

The Rangers star is free to speak to other clubs with his current deal at Ibrox expiring in the summer.

While it looks likely that he will depart Glasgow after six years, the Colombian hasn't completely ruled out signing a new contract.

It was said earlier this week that ambitious Turkish side Konyaspor wanted to take the 26-year-old at the end of the season.

However, The Scottish Sun report that Morelos has knocked back this approach.

The Super Lig side were told they would be wasting their time with a late bid before today’s Turkish deadline.

Overall, it's been a poor season for the striker by his usually high standards in Scotland

That said, since Michael Beale's arrival in November, Morelos has regained form, firing in doubles against Kilmarnock and Hearts in recent weeks.

The report states that Morelos is now considering extending his stay.

Speaking about the player recently, Beale said: "Just playing regularly and just enjoying his football. And we are creating a lot of chances. I think he could probably have a few more goals if I'm honest and that has probably driven him.

"That's two away at Kilmarnock and two away at Hearts. I am over the moon with Alfredo at the minute. He is no bother to me around the building. So far so good.

"Antonio is waiting on the sidelines, he is not 100 per cent fit. But it's difficult when a centre-forward is in such good form, it's not really an area you would voluntarily rotate.

"So it's difficult for Tony but earlier in the season the reverse was true and Tony was scoring a lot. So it's a good place for us to be in."
