Rangers face off against Partick Thistle this weekend in the Scottish Cup fifth round.

Michael Beale's side have already played at Hampden so far this season, beating Aberdeen 2-1 in the Viaplay Cup semi-final.

They will return to the national stadium this month for the final of that competition against Celtic.

With a win over the Jags this weekend, Rangers would take another step towards making it to Hampden in the Scottish Cup as well.

However, backed by a strong away support at Ibrox, Partick will undoubtedly give it their all in this Glasgow derby encounter.

Team news

Michael Beale could hand Nicolas Raskin his first start after a late nine-minute cameo in last weekend's win over Ross County.

The likes of Ianis Hagi and Antonio Colak could also be given starts in a bid to get more minutes in the legs after lengthy spells out through injury.

Alex Lowry, Scott Wright and James Sands are three others who could be in line for some significant game time.

John Lundstram was forced off early on through injury in the Ibrox win last weekend and is likely to miss out. Although, the ankle knock is not as bad as initially feared.

A full squad update will be provided in the pre-match press conference later this week.

Ian McCall will also give a fitness update on his squad ahead of the game too.
