Ange Postecoglou has responded to speculation linking him with the managerial vacancy at Leeds United, insisting he is fully focussed on his current position.

The Whites are reportedly keeping tabs on the Aussie as a possible replacement for Jesse Marsch after he was sacked earlier this week.

Postecoglou is currently priced at 9/1 to move to the Premier League, but for the time being the Celtic manager is only concentrating on his current position.

Asked if the Leeds speculation was a compliment, Postecoglou responded: “It is if I take any notice of it.

“We have had a good week of training, an unusual week for us without any midweek games, it has been really good.

“A really positive week on the training track with all the guys performing well and that is where the focus has been.”

Asked if the media underestimated his job satisfaction and loyalty to Celtic, Postecoglou continued to BBC Sportsound: “I have no idea how you feel about anything. All I can tell you is I am focused on doing the job well here and making sure that I uphold the responsibilities I have within the football club and with our supporters.

“I will keep trying to produce teams that hopefully bring success and smiles to our supporters.”
