Michael Beale has provided a Rangers injury update ahead of this weekend's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Raith Rovers.

The Govan outfit will welcome their Championship opponents to Ibrox in the last eight of the competition as they look to retain the trophy they won last term.

Ahead of the fixture manager Beale has confirmed that his side have "one or two bumps" but "nothing major" in terms of serious injuries.

It was also confirmed that Ridvan Yilmaz, John Souttar and Leon King are all fit and available for selection.

Beale said: "It will be the strongest team possible for the game. One or two bumps but nothing major. Ridvan, Souttar and King are all available for selection at the weekend.

"The team have set a standard, the other boys will have to fight in training to earn minutes. This is a quarter-final and we will give it the full respect it deserves.

"Ultimately, our aim is to win this competition but we are focused on the game at the weekend."

Updating on long-term knocks, Beale revealed that striker Kemar Roofe is out for the remainder of the season.

He explained: "Tom Lawrence has had a minor operation and will be back at pre-season. Kemar Roofe has had a minor hip operation and will also be back for pre-season."
