Joe Hart was seemingly targeted by missiles during today's game between Hearts and Celtic.

The goalkeeper was caught on camera handing over an object thrown from the stands at Tynecastle to referee Kevin Clancy.

Viaplay's TV cameras spotted the Hoops No.1 picking up the item before taking a goal kick during the 3-0 victory for his side.

He ran up to the on-field official to raise the matter to his attention.

Clancy then passed the item on to the fourth official, David Munro.

The incident appeared to occur around the hour mark. It will likely be filed as part of the referee's report.

It comes just seven days on after Jim Goodwin was hit by a coin thrown by Aberdeen fans during Dundee United's loss to his former side.

Celtic booked their place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals thanks to goals from Aaron Mooy, Kyogo, and Cameron Carter-Vickers.

Meanwhile, Ange Postecoglou is blanking all talk of a Treble this season after watching his side cruise past Hearts to reach the Scottish Cup semi-final but says that his players must maintain their focus as that possibility moves closer.

He remains focused on his team’s short-term goals though, laughing off any suggestion that a domestic clean sweep has entered his thoughts.

“How many different ways have you asked that question?!” Postecoglou said.

“We’ve got Hibs next week and that’s where our focus is. It’s worked well for us that way and it’s not a throwaway line.

“I get it. I spoke about it before the game, football in Scotland is very much a cauldron. There isn’t a person who hasn’t got an interest or some skin in the game. There is always a lot of noise, a lot of talk."
