Rangers youngster Zak Lovelace has received international recognition.

The talented teenager has been called up to England's Under-17s squad.

The forward will be in the Three Lions' youth squad for their upcoming three matches this month.

Ryan Garry's team takes on Denmark tomorrow, Northern Ireland on Saturday, and then The Netherlands next week.

All of the matches are Euro U17 elite qualifiers, as England looks to book their place in Hungary at the end of the season.

Lovelace is only one of a few players in the u17s squad who can boast first-team experience.

Lovelace has impressed since arriving at Rangers from Millwall last summer.

He helped the under-18s to the Scottish Youth Cup Final and his performances in the Lowland League with Rangers B have also caught the eye.

He's been involved in first-team training at times under Michael Beale, and was recently on the bench for the Ibrox club's game against Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

He has one Rangers senior appearance to his name, featuring against Queen of the South in the League Cup earlier this season.

Lovelace's international teammates include Lewis Miley of Newcastle and Chelsea's Somto Boniface.

Adam Devine and Cole McKinnon on Scotland under-21 duty and Charlie Lindsay away with Northern Ireland under-19s, with more Rangers youths also away on international duty currently.
