Injured Rangers striker Kemar Roofe celebrated his side's victory over Celtic today...in Qatar.

The forward is currently out injured and had surgery on a hip problem in March.

But he was still watching his club in action alongside Rangers supporters at the Qatar Loyal and Blue watch party.

Roofe was paraded as a "special guest" to watch the match with supporters at The Curry House Qatar.

He shared a short video clip of the Rangers fan event on his Instagram with the supporters club and venue also posting snaps of Roofe.

Roofe won't return to action for Rangers this season after going under the knife to resolve his hip issue. But the striker still has one year left on his Ibrox deal.

After his operation, Roofe had commented on social media: "This season has been a physical and mental merry-go round but with this successful hip operation I’m hoping it puts an end to it all.

"It’s an operation that I’ve needed for a long time but never found time to fit it in when trying to fight for silverware and success. Playing with pain and a lack of movement can only last for so long.

"Pain is weakness leaving the body."
