Michael Beale has revealed Rangers and Bayern Munich officials will discuss a potential transfer for Malik Tillman next week.

The talented midfielder, 20, was back in Glasgow at the weekend for the Rangers Player of the Year event.

And Tillman - already named PFA Young Player of the Year - was awarded the club Young Player of the Year gong at the ceremony.

However, Beale admitted there is no decision yet confirmed on Tillman's future with the player to rehab his injury at parent club Bayern.

The Ibrox boss confirmed discussions over a possible permanent transfer deal are ongoing with a call planned for next week between the two clubs.

Beale explained: "I spoke to Malik afterwards. The conversation between the two clubs is still ongoing.

"I think there is a called planned for after the weekend between the two [clubs].

"But it was nice to see Malik at the weekend obviously winning another award for fine contributions made this season."

After collecting his PFA award, Tillman stated he would take his time to consider his future.

“I’ve spoken to Michael Beale already and he said, ‘Just take your time. It’s your decision’. That’s what I’m going to do,” said the midfielder.

“The option is until the beginning of June or something so I still have three or four weeks to decide. I’m going to take my time because obviously it’s a big decision for me.

“It is still open. I am going to talk to Michael Beale in the coming days and see what he is saying and what the club is saying. Then I am going to speak to Bayern again and see what their plan is for me. And then I am going to decide.”
