Ange Postecoglou batted off questions surrounding his Celtic future prior to today's Scottish Cup final.

The 57-year-old portrayed a relaxed figure as he spoke to the media prior to this evening's cup final showpiece against Inverness at Hampden.

He addressed the game itself, talking about the challenges involved with negotiating the tie against a lower-league opposition.

But speaking on Viaplay, reporter Connie McLaughlin then turned the questioning towards the speculation linking Postecoglou with Spurs.

She asked if it would be okay to ask him some more about his future in the aftermath of the game and if he could be able to provide some reassurance to fans.

He wittingly replied: "If I said it wasn't okay with me, would you still ask the questions? Probably, so it doesn't really matter how I feel."

McLaughlin: "Just doing my job."

Postecoglou: "Yeah, and that's fine. I'm pretty certain our supporters are coming here to hopefully witness another day of history for our football club and this group of players.

"I doubt they're thinking much beyond that, we certainly aren't. We've got a great opportunity today."

Laughing, McLaughlin then said: "Don't avoid me after the game."

Postecoglou responded: "No, I would never do that but it doesn't mean I have to answer the questions"

It would spell their eighth treble if the Hoops claimed victory against their Championship opponents. It would also confirm Postecoglou's fifth trophy out of six since arriving in Glasgow two years ago.
