Celtic fans have gathered in their thousands outside of Parkhead to welcome back the team after they clinched the Scottish Cup against Inverness.

Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota saw the Hoops run out 3-1 winners at the national stadium as the Hoops clinched a world-record eighth treble.

Supporters gathered in a similar fashion after the champions retained the title against Hearts at Tynecastle last month.

Ange Postecoglou gave a speech that day to the fans and it is likely he will do the same again.

The Australian was also quizzed on his future after lifting the Scottish Cup and he addressed the reports linking him with a move down south to Tottenham Hotspur.

Speaking to BBC, he said: "I understand the question but I am going to be a little bit selfish here because not just myself but my family and the people around me have worked really hard to enjoy this moment.

"As disappointing as that might be for some people. We work too hard as players and managers that if I start talking about things that are not really important right now to me and the people around me... mate, I am just enjoying this and I will enjoy it for as long as I can before people drag me away to talk about other things.

"You want to be in a position to win things and win games of football. That comes with a responsibility. I have loved every minute of how the whole group has embraced that.

"The players are the ones that have to perform every week. It has been our mantra from day one that we have wanted to be relentless in every way and do it every day in training. It is a great group that is led by Callum McGregor and the other senior boys.

"It is a great dressing room and they go down as history-makers now.

"We definitely need a break. It has felt like a long season and it might be because of the World Cup break. I think some of the lads are feeling it.

"You must remember that some of our boys were at a World Cup mid-season, and that is why I am super proud of them at the levels they have created. I think everyone is looking forward to a break."
