Ange Postecoglou was tight-lipped on speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham yesterday as Celtic won the treble, but the Aussie admits he is looking forward to a few weeks of rest.

Goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota earned the Hoops a Scottish Cup trophy to add to their collection as they eased past Inverness at Hampden Park yesterday.

Postecoglou was visibly emotional as Celtic secured their treble, but he was still giving nothing away regarding links to Spurs in the Premier League.

The 57-year-old is set to hold talks with the English giants and Viaplay Sport host Emma Dodds was quick to quiz him on his plans for the coming days.

He responded: "I'm going on holiday on Tuesday I cannot wait. I will take the family away.

"It has felt like a long season, I think because of the World Cup.

"You need to remember some of our boys were at a World Cup mid season. It is crazy the levels they have reached considering the demands on them this year.

"You have seen in our performances in the past four or five weeks the boys have been close to running on empty.

"I think we are all needing a bit of a break."

On the speculation, Postecoglou added: “You’re talking about things that are taking me away from enjoying this moment and I’m not going to let that happen.

“I'm just enjoying this and I will enjoy it for as long as I can before people drag me away to talk about other things. I didn’t want to talk about it before and I didn’t say I’d talk about it after.

"What I want to do is enjoy this. People might think it’s selfish of me but I’m not thinking of talking about anything else. To do what we have done today, just take a little chunk of history for ourselves at this unbelievable football club, I owe it to my family and loved ones to enjoy that and not talk about other things. There will be time for that and it’s not today.

“I’m going to be bit selfish here because not just myself, family but people around me have all worked very hard to enjoy this moment so as disappointing as that may be for people that's what I'm going to do.”
