Kyogo Furuhashi was among Ange Postecoglou's first signings for Celtic.

Now, fans are hoping the former manager doesn't come back to raid his Parkhead squad.

The striker has enjoyed a glittering period in Scottish football to date - and there are some fears Postecoglou could try and take Kyogo to Spurs.

Postecoglou completed a move to the Premier League club on Tuesday signing a four-year deal in North London.

And early reports have suggested he has his transfer targets already lined up.

James Maddison, Max Kilman and David Raya have all been touted for moves to Spurs.

And odds have now been released rating the chance of Postecoglou landing Kyogo this summer.

Betfair price a move for Kyogo to Spurs at 4/1 but it's unclear at this point whether Postecoglou will consider any transfer signings from his Celtic squad.

And even if Postecoglou was to launch a move for Kyogo, the Japanese striker is contracted at Celtic until 2025 - so a significant fee would likely be required.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Tottenham’s long wait for a permanent Antonio Conte replacement is finally over after Ange Postecoglou’s appointment was confirmed on Tuesday morning. Postecoglou is Evens to win a trophy during his tenure at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and 3/1 to do so in his first season, while the north London club are 9/4 to finish above rivals, Arsenal.

“Kyogo Furuhashi flourished during his time under Postecoglou at Celtic and the Japanese goal machine is 4/1 to reunite with the Aussie in the capital this summer. Previous Tottenham managers have struggled to last long in the hot-seat, with Postecoglou 8/1 to leave his role before Christmas Day.”

On his Celtic exit, Postecoglou commented: “I would like to sincerely thank everyone at the Club for everything they have given me. In particular, Dermot, Peter and Michael and the Celtic Board have shown me tremendous support in every aspect of my time at Celtic and I will forever be grateful for this.

"They brought me to the Club and I have worked so closely and so well with them for the past two years, I will always have a special relationship with them.

“They wanted me to extend my time at Celtic and while I am so respectful and understanding of their position, a new opportunity has been presented to me and it is one which I wanted to explore.

“It was an honour to be asked to be Celtic manager and during my two years I have given everything I have to deliver success to our supporters. Culminating in the Treble at the weekend, my players and backroom team have been brilliant for me on this journey.

"They have given us all some fantastic moments through their energy and effort, creating real quality, winning football.

“Our supporters have been magnificent to me and I thank them for the way they have embraced me during the past two years. My ambition was always to give our fans a team they could be proud of, a team people talked about and I think we have achieved that.

“Celtic is a phenomenal football club, and so much more - and I will forever be a supporter of this great institution. I wish everyone connected with Celtic nothing but continued success.”
