Coaches Iain O’Hare, Megan Brown and Melissa Brown are over the moon following the club’s success.

“We had unbelievable success, winning a total of eight medals in nine categories,” says Iain.

“That is an incredible achievement. They were up against competitors who are the best in Europe, if not the world. Getting selected to the GB team is a difficult task in itself, so to then go on and win so many medals is amazing.

“We are delighted so many winners have come from our club and from Scotland.”

Madison Brown won a bronze medal, Sophie won gold, Kenzo picked up two golds and Maia won four golds.

The coaches, who travelled with the students and were delighted to “support them every step of they way” said it was an inspirational trip.

Iain added: “It was a very emotional week, that almost felt too good to be true.

“The hard work, dedication and the overall will to win that these kids were able to show was nothing short of amazing. They are a true inspiration for all back home at the club.”
