A former Rangers hero delighted fans with his incredible singing voice as he shared a clip of himself performing an acoustic cover of a chart-topping hit.

Scott Arfield performed a solo rendition of American country singer Zach Bryan's hit Something In The Orange in a video shared on his Instagram.

Thousands of fans liked the post and commented on the 35-year-old footballer's performance.

Former Gers teammate Andy Firth said: "Sensational Scotty boy."

Sheffield player Josh Windass wrote: "Just need a campfire son."

Charlotte teammate Justin Meram added: "My word you're special."

Other fans described the serenade as "sensational" and "angelic".

The midfielder was a fan favourite at Ibrox, but he departed the club over the summer when his contract expired.

Arfield was signed by Steven Gerrard in 2018 and he went on to have a hugely successful spell in Govan, where he won the Premiership title during the 20/21 season.
