Odin Thiago Holm has opened up on the two qualities that can help him become a regular starter at Celtic.

The Norwegian started his first Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen as the Parkhead side ran out 6-0 winners.

Goals from Yang Hyun-jun, Kyogo Furuhashi, Luis Palma, David and a double from Oh Hyeon-gyu saw Celtic bounce back from the midweek disappointment against Atletico Madrid.

And Holm detailed what he needs to work to feature more regularly under Brendan Rodgers.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: " Goals and assists, I am best with the ball offensively so need to try and be on the ball to show my qualities."

Celtic captain Callum McGregor also expressed his delight at the performance against Barry Robson's men.

And the 30-year-old explained how he was delighted with the string finish to the fixture.

"It was excellent, we know we need to generate the tempo to open up teams early doors and if we can get a goal then it opens the game up," he told Sky Sports.

"We had the perfect start and were unlucky not to go 3-0 up at half time. We started the second half with the same intensity and the boys finished strongly which was pleasing as well.

"We need to keep pushing the fitness levels and when the game goes like that we have the quality to come off the bench and kill the game.
