Celtic could allow six players to leave the club during the January transfer window with club chiefs reportedly open to offers.

It's claimed Parkhead chiefs are willing to field offers for Gustaf Lagerbielke, Alexandro Bernabei, James McCarthy and Rocco Vata this month.

Sky Sports states that Celtic will consider offers for all four players to depart the club with Yuki Kobayashi and Marco Tilio also set for loan spells away from Glasgow.

Lagerbielke - who signed in the summer - is reportedly among the players set to leave the club despite recent reports suggesting the Sweden international is not close to a move even after Serie A interest.

Bernabei has struggled to find regular game time at Celtic with Greg Taylor nailing down the left-back spot under both Ange Posetcoglou and Brendan Rodgers.

McCarthy, 33, was expected to leave Celtic in the summer with a contract compromise discussed to facilitate a move.

Rodgers had said in August: “Sadly for James, a few injuries and a few niggles have curtailed his time here, so he will be looking to move on.

“I think there has been interest, and I know that his agent has been talking to the club to see if we can find a compromise for him.”

Celtic teenager Vata has been linked with multiple Serie A clubs including Bologna and Como. Vata could leave on a permanent transfer for a fee this month or sign a pre-contract with Celtic then due compensation for his development at the club.

Meanwhile, Kobayashi and Tilio have been fringe players at the club with reports suggesting loan moves would be considered this month.

Kobayashi joined Celtic in January last year from Vissel Kobe on a five-year deal. He hasn't played once competitively for Celtic this season.

Tilio - currently with the Australia national team at the Asian Cup - has played just twice for Celtic this term and recently admitted he is keen for more game time.
