Rangers will be eager to bounce back from their Europa League exit and focus on their charge for the Scottish Premiership title.

They travel north to face Dundee looking for a response following a sticky period that's seen them win just once from their last four matches in all competitions. The Light Blues do still lead Celtic by two points at the league summit, but they will know there's no time for any more slip-ups.

The hosts go into the clash in good spirits after their 1-0 win over Aberdeen last time out. Tony Docherty's men have reacted well to a painful defeat against Celtic a few weeks ago and recent results have kept the top six dream alive. In fact, they are only six points behind fourth placed St Mirren so a positive outcome in this one could make European football a real prospect.

Team news

Dundee are still without first choice goalkeeper Trevor Carson, which means Jon McCracken will start in goals. On-loan full-back Owen Beck was absent in midweek but could return to the squad. However, Jordan McGhee, Josh Mulligan, Zach Robinson, Ryan Howley and Diego Pineda are all expected to remain on the treatment table.

Rangers' 1-0 defeat against Benfica on Thursday will have taken a lot out of the players, so manager Philippe Clement may be tempted to make some changes for this one.

He was able to welcome Todd Cantwell and Scott Wright back into the squad this week and he will be hoping Ross McCausland has overcome a knock to feature.

Danilo, Oscar Cortes, Kieran Dowell, and Abdallah Sima remain long-term injury concerns, while Dujon Sterling was dealt a setback of his own.
