Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side to face St Johnstone.

The hosts are aiming to return to the top of the Scottish Premiership table, at least overnight, with victory at Parkhead.

Title rivals Rangers currently sit two points ahead but don't take on Dundee until Sunday at midday.

That means Celtic could put the pressure back on Rangers with victory against Craig Levein's St Johnstone.

And Rodgers has made two changes to his team from the Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Livingston.

Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyogo Furuhashi come in for Liam Scales and Adam Idah.

CELTIC XI: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Welsh, Taylor, Tomoki, O'Riley, Bernardo, Kuhn, Maeda, Kyogo.

SUBS: Bain, Lagerielke, Idah, Holm, Oh, Vata, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston.
