How the Rangers players rated in the 3-3 draw against Celtic at Ibrox.

Jack Butland: Struggled all afternoon with the ball at his feet under pressure from Celtic's press. A good save from Maeda prevented a second after 25 minutes kept his side in the game before in incredible full bodied dive stopped O'Riley's header. Had no chance with the goals.  8

James Tavernier: Struggled up against Maeda's electric pace and energiser bunny work rate in a shocking first half. Stood tall to put his penalty in the top corner and was much improved as the game wore on. 5

Dujon Sterling: A composed presence and willing runner. One of the players for Clement to build this team around in the years ahead. Good on the ball, quick and powerful.  Was partially to blame for Celtic's winner but had a good game overall and one of the Rangers players who can say he reached a high level. 7

Connor Goldson: Once again in an Old Firm, it wasn't his best day at the office and looked shaky. He also missed a terrific chance with a header from just three yards out. Didn't cover himself in glory with his one on one defending. 5

John Souttar: Solid and burst out from the back to decent effect. Got a bad head knock and sported a large bandage for much of the proceedings. Should have got tighter to Idah for Celtic's third. 7

Mohamed Diomande: Gave the ball away time and again in dangerous areas, often under little pressure. Looked a player overawed by the occasion but settled in the second half until his substitution. 6

John Lundstram: A tough day at the office. Worked hard but struggled to fully impose himself on the midfield. Lacks the mobility to take the ball and turn through the press. With Celtic sitting in, he was expected to orchestrate and that's not his strength. 6

Tom Lawrence: A poor showing from the Welshman who did little to justify his inclusion ahead of Cantwell. Created little and too often tried to force play unsuccessfully. 5

Scott Wright: One of the better players in the first half but that has to be taken in context of how poor Rangers were. He didn't have a huge impact. Subbed at the break to make way for Sima. 5

Fabio Silva: Lacked the pace in behind to trouble Johnston. Had one golden chance as the first half drew to a close but his low shot was stopped by Hart. A brilliant chop in the box meant he was felled for the penalty. Nearly created a second but Dessers' strike was ruled out. 6

Cyriel Dessers: Toiled away, pressing hard but unable to offer much attacking threat. Wasn't given much service and isn't a player who creates his own moments. Unlucky to see a goal ruled out after a sharp close-range finish sent Ibrox into raptures. 6

Substitutes

Abdallah Sima: Rangers looked a much better side after his introduction. His pace made a huge difference. Got the equaliser with four minutes to play after his strike was deflected past Hart. 6

Todd Cantwell: Brought on with 20 minutes to go. Buzzed around without much joy but got stuck in for his team.

Rabbi Matondo: Replaced Silva. Didn't offer much until his incredible Thierry Henry-esque finish in stoppage time. A stunning strike that was one of the few moments of absolute quality on show. 5

Kieran Dowell: Looked good on his late introduction, adding some much-needed penetration. 4

Leon Balogun: Late sub for Goldson in injury time. 2
