Luis Palma may have gained a superstar supporter after a YouTube sensation with 24 million subscribers wore one of his football shirts.

Popular content creator IShowSpeed was filmed putting on a Honduras shirt emblazoned with the name and number of the Celtic winger.

The YouTuber - real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr - has been a viral social media star for his gaming and real life clips.

IShowSpeed, 19, moved from gaming to football-based content after developing an affinity for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now, though, Palma could be among the teenager's footballing hero as he donned Palma's kit after being gifted shirts by a follower.

Palma shared the interaction on his Instagram story with the YouTuber and streamer surrounded by fans before being gifted shirts by RetroFutbol.

The internet personality was asked: "Can you wear this one? It's a Honduran country, just for the video."

Then clutching a Honduran shirt with Palma 17 printed on the back, IShowSpeed said: "I got you bro."

Clearly chuffed, Palma shared the short video clip on his own Instagram story tagging the YouTuber - who has 16m followers on the platform.

The Palma endorsement comes as IShowSpeed continues to dominate the internet with huge collaborations.

He recently met Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to toss around a football in another unlikely partnership.

The 19-year-old recently featured at WWE flagship pay-per-view event WrestleMania where he assisted fellow YouTuber Logan Paul in the sports entertainment product.
