The SPFL have agreed a deal with a new title sponsor for next season, according to reports. 

William Hill have been connected to Scottish football for a long time and have previously been the main sponsor for the Scottish Cup. 

The Scottish Sun report that they have agreed a 'record-breaking' deal to take over from Cinch after the car firm decided to end their contract early. 

Cinch had signed a five-year deal with the SPFL but decided to end it this season after a lengthy dispute with Rangers

The Ibrox side had refused to display the branding for the company and the decision to leave early put more pressure on Neil Doncaster. 

The SPFL chief executive revealed over the weekend and it's now claimed that it done with William Hill to take over from next season.

Speaking at the weekend, Doncaster had said: “It’s never done until it’s done. 

“It’s been a difficult market, but I would say Scottish football is in a very good place.

“It’s a challenging sponsorship environment. Any of our 42 member clubs would tell you the same. 

“Cinch are coming out of the contract this summer and I am optimistic that we will have a replacement sponsor for the start of the new season.

“I’m not going to tell you when. But I’m optimistic we will have a sponsor in place for next season.”
