Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes has shared his delight after old pal Ally McCoist was awarded an OBE.
The experienced manager played alongside McCoist at Rangers and hailed his former team-mate after his recognition.
McCoist was awarded the OBE on Wednesday, October 2 for services to football and broadcasting.

The Prince of Wales presented McCoist with the honour at Windsor Castle.
McCoist said of the occasion on social media site X: "Such a proud moment for myself and my family, I am humbled to be receiving my OBE from Prince William at Windsor Castle today.
"Thank you for all the support and messages it means so much. Did we speak about @AVFCOfficial ?? That’s between the Prince and I."
McInnes was chuffed to see old pal McCoist recognised as he branded the OBE "well deserved".

“I messaged him this morning and had a wee text conversation with him," said McInnes. “My son was going down to London last night and Cosity’s family were on the same flight.
“A brilliant moment for him. I was at Rangers with him when he got the MBE, so it’s taken a while for him to get his OBE, but it’s well deserved.
“He’s a very popular guy and it’s a big day for him, I’m delighted for him.”
