Rangers legend Ally McCoist has stated he won't appear on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.
The Ibrox icon has been tipped to appear on the reality show after twice turning down the opportunity in recent years.
Reports earlier this month suggested ITV chiefs were desperate to land the popular pundit for the show Down Under.
However, McCoist appears to have ruled out heading into the jungle this year as he was grilled on the matter on talkSPORT.
Pushed on whether he would appear on the show by co-host Jeff Stelling, McCoist said: “No. There's your answer.” Stelling responded: “That’s a definitive no…”
McCoist then revealed former Rangers player Ian Durrant had asked him about rumours of signing up for the TV show.
The pundit explained: “It’s brilliant, my wee mate Durranty phoned me, he says, 'What a decision you’ve got to make - sitting on the half way line in the best seats in the house, at the San Siro watching Inter Milan vs Man City or Inter Milan vs Arsenal - or eating a bag of spiders'. It’s not bad, is it?”

McCoist had previously been coy on the links to I'm A Celeb when the topic arose on talkSPORT.
“You know the drill lads - I’ll do what I’m told," he said at the start of the month. "To be fair, I could do with losing a stone and a half. I don’t know.”
On previously turning down approaches from I'm A Celeb, McCoist said: “I'm not a fan of cockroaches! The bit where you jump out of the helicopter or plane at the start - I'd like to do that. But then the rest is downhill.
"You don't really know until you're there, but I actually think being in the coffin with the rats and snakes - from where I'm sitting right now - I don't think that would bother me that much."
