A man who runs a Clydebank FC supporters bus insists "interest is high" ahead of the upcoming Scottish Cup clash against Hibernian.
Fred McCosh says local people are "absolutely buzzing" for the fixture, with 150 booking on so far, filling three buses.
The Caskie Clydebank Supporters Bus, which is named after Stevie McAneney who was a former member and director of the football club before passing away, is arranging transport for fans to the match at Easter Road on January 18.
Bankies fans have snapped up 1700 tickets so far and Fred has opened up on the importance of the occasion.
The 63-year-old said: "We have a lot of young supporters who have never known Clydebank to be involved in a game like this so that is exciting.
"The response has been positive so far and we expect to sell many more tickets.
"The Caskie Supporters Bus has been running for 15 years and is the only regular point of transport for Clydebank fans.
"Previously we ran two buses for the Junior Cup final but we have already exceeded that."
While Fred feels it will be a tough ask for the West of Scotland League side to get a result in Edinburgh, he hopes the team can do the town proud.
He continued: "This upcoming game is quite poignant in that it takes us back to where we once were in terms of playing a team from the Scottish Premiership.
"At one point, when the club was in a tough financial situation, I never thought we would get to go somewhere like Easter Road again.
"Luckily through this new format in the cup, we are getting the opportunity to play teams further up the pyramid."
Clydebank director Paul Cummings also expressed his delight at the interest in the fixture.
He said: "We're absolutely delighted with the initial uptake to the Hibs' cup tickets going on sale, and clearing 1700 sales so far is a fantastic response from the Clydebank support and general public.
"We have up to 3850 tickets so there is enough for everyone and we would love the backing of as many Bankies as possible in the capital.
"It's taken a lot of time and hard work to get the club back to this stage and we want as many fans as possible to enjoy it with us and cheer on Gordon Moffat's team.
"It's twenty-four years since we last played a top-flight team in the tournament and the romance of the cup is there as it was also a trip to Edinburgh that saw us leave Easter Road with a 1-1 draw so there's no pressure on the lads to get a similar result!"
Tickets for a place on The Caskie Clydebank Supporters Bus can be purchased at Holm Park on Saturday, January 11 before the match against Troon.
