Celtic’s upcoming away match against Aberdeen has been rescheduled, with the fixture now set for an 8pm kick-off on Wednesday, May 14, to accommodate live television coverage on Sky Sports.

The match at Pittodrie was originally due to begin at 7.45pm but has been moved slightly later as part of Sky’s continuing coverage of the Scottish Premiership run-in.

Although Brendan Rodgers’ side have already secured the title, they’ll be aiming to keep up momentum ahead of the Scottish Cup final. Aberdeen, meanwhile, remain in the hunt for third place after a 1-0 win over Hibernian last time out. That result brought them level on points with the Edinburgh club, though they currently trail on goal difference.

The midweek clash marks Aberdeen’s final home outing of the season and offers Jimmy Thelin’s men another opportunity to test themselves against the champions in front of a home crowd and national TV audience.
