Rangers are reportedly in advanced discussions to sign Conor Coady.
The Ibrox club is keen to secure the Leicester City centre-back on a permanent deal.
The signing is part of manager Russell Martin's strategy to bolster the squad before the Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.
Coady, who has represented England, could leave the Foxes following their drop from the Premier League.

The Daily Record reports the 32-year-old's move north is at an advanced stage.
Rangers are eager to finalise the deal promptly, ensuring Coady joins pre-season training as soon as possible.
This will provide Martin with ample time to integrate the new signing before the Greek showdown.
Coady is also familiar with Rangers' new sporting director, Kevin Thelwell, who previously signed him for Everton.
This familiarity could play a crucial role in the potential transfer.
In addition to Coady, Rangers are reportedly close to securing a season-long loan for Bournemouth's right-back Max Aarons.
They also have their sights set on winger Kwame Poku, following his departure from Peterborough.
These additions reflect Martin's strategy to strengthen the squad with fresh faces ahead of the new season.
