Livingston's Adam Montgomery made a memorable debut by scoring in their 6-0 victory against Kelty Hearts.

The 23-year-old left-back, on loan from Celtic, joined the West Lothian side for his sixth temporary spell away from Parkhead.

Just a day after his move, he was included in the Livi lineup for the Premier Sports Cup clash.

The game started with an early goal from Andy Winter in the first minute.

Montgomery followed with the second goal 25 minutes later, putting the ball past Kelty's Corey Armour.

This marked his third senior goal in his career.

Despite their emphatic win, Livingston's place in the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup isn't guaranteed.

They will have to wait for the results from today's matches to confirm their qualification.

Looking ahead, the team will begin their league campaign next weekend with an away match against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

After his impressive start, Montgomery will be eager to feature in the lineup.

The former Scotland under-21 international had a brief loan spell at Queen's Park last season, making 14 appearances for the Scottish Championship side.
