Rangers have earned their first financial bonus of €150,000 in the Europa League this season.

The sum is due to their draw against Braga tonight.

Danny Rohl's side came into the game after two consecutive Scottish Premiership victories.

However, they couldn't continue their winning streak as James Tavernier's penalty was cancelled out by Gabri Martinez's second-half equaliser.

The draw brought them their first financial bonus in the Europa League proper this season.

This comes after Rangers lost their opening four matches to Genk, Sturm Graz, Brann, and Roma.

As well as bonuses based on wins and draws, the Europa League offers further performance-related payments.

These include €600,000 for finishing in the top eight of the league phase, €300,000 for finishing between ninth and 16th in the league phase, and €300,000 for reaching the knockout round playoff.

If Rangers reach the round of 16, they will earn €1.75 million, while reaching the quarter-finals would bring them €2.5 million.

A semi-final place would earn €4.5 million, and if they reach the final, they will earn €7 million.

Rangers have three remaining Europa League fixtures – away to Ferencvaros on December 11, home to Ludogorets on January 22, 2026, and away to FC Porto on January 29, 2026.

The team will now turn their attention back to the Scottish Premiership.

They welcome Falkirk to Ibrox on Sunday, with kick-off at 2pm.
