Rangers hero Boyd is never too far away when their rivals are suffering.
And he posted a series of pictures to his Instagram stories - the first being one of St Mirren mascot, the Paisley Panda, booting a Celtic badge.
Next, the mascot was holding a flag with Chris Sutton's face on it and Boyd had captioned it: "Hope you had your blinds shut today" - possibly a reference to when Sutton said he wouldn't pay to watch the Buddies play.
Finally, there was a video of carol singers in Glasgow performing 'When the Saints go marching in'. The former Ibrox striker wrote: "Nice day in Glasgow listening to the festive songs."
