Billy Dodds has revealed that Dujon Sterling proved him wrong when he was a coach at Rangers last season.
Dodds was part of Barry Ferguson's interim backroom team, who took over after Philippe Clement was sacked in February.
The player made his mark after an eight-month injury lay-off, setting up Rangers' winner against Hibernian on Monday evening.
Speaking on his early opinions, Dodds said [Go Radio]: "He's so versatile. You can play him right-back, you can play him right-centre-half. He has got quality.

"He always said to me, 'I just come alive on the pitch.' And he did.
"When I first went there, he'll not thank me for saying it, he proved me wrong.
"He had a warm-up against Motherwell; he was just taking his time. He came on and he shanked one out the pitch and I said to him, 'That's because of your warm-up.' But he's like, 'Nah, I come alive on the pitch.'
"We went to Fenerbahce. He came on as a sub, and he was unbelievable. And then he just went from strength to strength."
Sterling will likely feature once again as his side face Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle on Sunday.
