Peter Grant has suggested that Celtic should consider signing Hibs striker Kieron Bowie.
The former Celtic midfielder believes the club should be looking to snap up Bowie, who has impressed with his physical presence and seven goals this season, for around £3m.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show about Bowie's potential, Mr Grant said: "I watched him at Raith as a young man. He was like a big drink of water. He was very thin. That's the way he was. He just needed to fill out.
"The injury helped him with that because he went to Fulham, then it was Northampton he went to. He started scoring more goals."

Bowie's journey has seen him progress from Raith Rovers to Fulham, before finding his stride at Northampton.
Mr Grant further praised Bowie for his European performances this season, highlighting his resilience and ability to hold his own against experienced players.
He said: "I watched him in Europe this season.
"I thought he was excellent against experienced players away from home. He played a fantastic match. He was bumping them. He was taking the ball in really well."
Despite experiencing dips in form due to returning from injury, Bowie has shown determination and potential with a recent highlight-reel goal.
Mr Grant said: "He went off the boil.
"He lost a bit of form recently because he had an injury again and was coming back in and out of the team.
"But he kept going and scored a wonder goal the other week there.
"I just think he's going to get better."
Given his belief in Bowie’s potential, Mr Grant is convinced he'd be a valuable asset to Celtic.
He stated: "If I was Celtic I would take him as well.
"There is no doubt in my mind about that because I think he's only going to get better."
The former Hoops player also speculated on what it might take to lure Bowie away from Hibs, suggesting a reasonable £3 million would be a good starting point to consider.
Grant claimed Hibs would likely not part with him for anything below £6 million.
However, he added: "You would pay £3m for him.
"That's what you'd pay.
"You'd pay £3m and if they went above that say 'okay, not just at this moment then.'
"You'd pay £3m and then hopefully he's going to come and score goals for you and you'd treble your money."
While the 23-year-old is currently making a name for himself at Hibs, links with a move to Celtic could indicate a step up is on the cards for the promising forward.
Whether Celtic will heed Grant’s advice and make a move for the striker remains to be seen.
But with his current form and potential, Bowie could be an exciting prospect for the Bhoys to consider in their quest for future success.
