Celtic are preparing for a busy January transfer window as they look to bolster their squad.
Manager Wilfried Nancy, who replaced Brendan Rodgers earlier this month, is expected to receive the club's backing. The Frenchman aims to make his mark on the team after a disappointing summer transfer window, which left fans dissatisfied.
The club's pursuit of Bournemouth's Julian Araujo seems to have progressed. The right-sided defender, aged 24, might join Celtic on loan until the end of the season.
Araujo, a Mexican international, moved to Bournemouth last season but has only made one appearance this campaign in the EFL Cup. With limited game time, Bournemouth are keen to let the former LA Galaxy, Barcelona, and Las Palmas player leave temporarily.
In addition to Araujo, Celtic have expressed interest in Preston North End's Milutin Osmajic. The striker, who plays for the English Championship side, could be a valuable addition to the team.

The Montenegro international has made 32 appearances for his national team and 92 for his current club, scoring 27 goals. This season alone, he has netted four times in 13 appearances.
Celtic are also on the lookout for a right-sided player and have identified Ivory Coast winger Jocelin Ta Bi as a possible recruit.
Currently playing for Hapoel Petah Tikva, on loan from Maccabi Netanya, Ta Bi is just 20 years old. He has made 12 appearances for Hapoel this season, contributing to four goals and assists combined.
The Ivorian predominantly operates on the right wing.
