Rangers outcast Oscar Cortes is set to cut short his loan at Sporting Gijon to head elsewhere, according to a report.
The Colombian winger has been at the Spanish second tier side since the summer but has not been getting a lot of game time - and hasn't featured in La Liga 2 since a sub appearance on November 23.
He has started once in the league, coming off the bench a further four times but has managed three starts in the Copa Del Rey.

Spanish outlet El Comercio is reporting Rangers and Sporting Gijon are now close to striking an agreement which would see the 22-year-old end his stay prematurely.
It is claimed Argentine side Huracan is likely to be his next destination as he searches for more game time.
Cortes has already turned out for both the Ibrox side and the Spaniards but a loophole will allow him to get around the rul that a player can only play for two teams in one season. That is because of the different in the Argentine football calendar to the UK's.
Huracan's new campaign is set to begin on January 24.
