A surprise visit from a rugby hero turned a young fan’s dream into an unforgettable reality.
Scotland rugby superfan Iain Norrie, 10, has experienced significant challenges in his life.
Living with Kabuki syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, the youngster from West Dunbartonshire has undergone 27 operations – including six open-heart surgeries.
Throughout these difficulties, his love for rugby has never wavered.
Iain’s passion has led to a once-in-a-lifetime experience delivered by Arnold Clark ahead of Scotland’s Calcutta Cup triumph over England.

The day before the match, former Scotland and Glasgow Warriors star and Arnold Clark ambassador Ryan Wilson arrived in Alexandria to personally escort Iain to Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
Travelling in a specially liveried MG Cyberster, Iain was taken to watch the team run and meet his rugby idols.
The surprises continued when Scotland scrum-half George Horne presented Iain with tickets to the Calcutta Cup match, allowing him the chance to cheer on his heroes from the stands.
After Scotland’s dramatic victory in the match, Arnold Clark arranged for Iain to go pitchside, where he joined the players in lifting the trophy.
This remarkable experience capped an emotional and triumphant weekend for Iain and his family.
Nicola, Iain’s mum, said: “Iain has had so many challenges in his young life, and he is so aware of his differences as he gets older.
“Days like today help us to help him understand that being different isn’t a bad thing and that he is loved by so many.
“Thank you to the team at Arnold Clark, it’s been amazing to make these memories with our boy.
“It’s a day he’ll remember for the rest of his life.”

Reflecting on the day, Ryan Wilson said: “It was incredibly special to meet Iain and see what this meant to him.
“The team at Arnold Clark and I are proud to have played a part in creating a legendary experience and a moment that will live long in the memory for everyone involved.
“Iain’s bravery and positivity are inspiring, and to share such an amazing rugby occasion with him made it even more memorable.”
