The Scottish FA's head of referees has admitted Celtic should have been given a penalty in their loss against Hibs.
Willie Collum said a decision not to award a spot-kick in the match "should be an on-field review".
David Gray's side defeated Celtic 2-1 at Parkhead, allowing their Edinburgh rivals Hearts to increase their lead.
However, Celtic might feel hard done by after Collum's admission that Jack Iredale's pull on Liam Scales should have been penalised.
The incident occurred just after Auston Trusty's dismissal and with the scores level at 1-1.
Trusty's sending off was for lashing out at Jamie McGrath.
Felix Passlack had earlier put the visitors ahead, but this was cancelled out by Benjamin Nygren's equaliser just before half-time.
Celtic's quest for a late winner was dashed by Kai Andrews' winning strike for Hibs.
At the time, Celtic claimed that they should have been awarded a penalty for Iredale's grab on Scales following a corner.
The Scottish FA's top referee admits this was incorrectly overlooked and should have been a penalty.
Collum said: "So, the VAR here describes the action of the holding and about proximity, about the area the ball is going into.
"And for us, this should be a penalty kick. This should be an on-field review for a penalty."
He continued: "There's too much holding here. There's too much impact for us.

"This shows the clear holding, the clear impact; it's prolonged there for a bit.
"Should be a penalty kick."
It was pointed out by host Gordon Duncan that the VAR team appeared to "build a strong case for a penalty" before backing away from it.
The referee boss further criticised the team for a lack of clarity.
Collum said: "If they had gone to on-field review after what they'd said, the VAR team, it would have been an excellent example because of the clear criteria used.
"But we need criteria.
"We've told the VAR teams now, and the on-field referee, 'not enough' is not a good description.
"They need to explain why we don't think that is a penalty."
The match consequently left Celtic trailing in the title race.
