Italian football manager and former Rangers player, Gennaro Gattuso has resigned as national coach.
This comes after Italy's defeat to Bosnia and Herzegovina in a World Cup play-off.
Italy had only reached this point after a poor start to qualification.
When they faced Bosnia and Herzegovina, the match ended in a draw both after 90 minutes and after extra time, before Italy lost on penalties.
Following this, the 48-year-old announced he would no longer remain in the role.
In a statement, he said: "With a heavy heart, having failed to achieve the goal we set ourselves, I consider my time as coach of the national team to be over.

His announcement came after reports in Italy suggested Gattuso was considering leaving the role, but had been persuaded to stay by Italian football's federal president, Gabriele Gravina.
Gravina, who also stepped down, praised the former Ibrox player.
He said: "I would like to thank Gattuso once again because, in addition to being a special person, he has made a valuable contribution as a coach.
"He managed to rekindle enthusiasm for the national team in just a few months and has instilled in the players and the entire country a great pride in the blue jersey."
