Celtic's on-loan defender, Julian Araujo, has flown to Mexico to undergo specialist treatment on a thigh injury.
The 24-year-old seeks to defy the odds and return to full fitness in time for the World Cup.
Hoops boss, Martin O'Neill, confirmed earlier that the full-back won’t play again this season for Celtic.
He returned to parent club Bournemouth after making thirteen appearances for the Hoops.

However, Araujo will reportedly undergo intensive treatment and rehabilitation work this week at the Mexican FA High-Performance Centre, hoping to make Javier Aguirre's squad for the World Cup.
His latest injury setback was expected to sideline him from the tournament.
Despite this, he remains optimistic about his chances.
On his return to Bournemouth, Araujo expressed his gratitude to Celtic.
He said: "I'm truly grateful to Celtic Football Club for welcoming me from day one and making Glasgow feel like home.
"Wearing this badge and experiencing the passion, history, and energy of this club is something I'll carry with me forever."
Whether his efforts will be enough to make it to the squad announcement by one of the host nations remains to be seen.
