After this, the team will fly to Portugal for a warm-weather training camp, ending with a friendly against Sporting CP at the Estadio Algarve on Tuesday, July 14.

This mirrors last summer's pre-season tour, including a match against one of Portugal's top clubs. In their last encounter, Celtic secured a 2-0 victory, with goals from Reo Hatate and Luke McCowan.

The team will then return to Scotland to play a prestigious friendly against AC Milan at Celtic Park on Saturday, July 25. Celtic's Scottish Premiership campaign will start the following weekend.

Although not yet officially confirmed, it is expected that Martin O'Neill will be the permanent manager by then.
