Rangers are being linked with yet another midfielder - Sturm Graz's Ryan Fosso.

The 24-year-old is a Swiss-born Cameroon international and was actually signed by the Austrian side to replace Tochu Chukwuani after his move to Ibrox in Janaury.

Now it looks like Rangers want to pair the duo up with Sky Switzerland reporting contact has been made by Ibrox chiefs.

Other clubs are showing an interest the men from Govan are "currently the club furthest ahead" in their pursuit of the player.

Torino, another unnamed Italian club and Spanish side Levante are among those linked.

Sturm Graz paid €900,000 to sign Fosso from Fortuna Sittard in January.

Rangers have also been making moves to sign midfielders Jens Hjerto-Dahl and Vanja Dragojevic as they look to revamp their engine room after already adding ex-Sunderland man Dan Neil on a free transfer.
